As the very first PP Techniq introduced fully certified ultra-light lifting slings as an alternative to steel ropes to the wind power industry in 2004.
 

Since then PP Techniq has entered into a partnership with one of the world's leading producers of synthetic fibre lines and holds exclusive rights to supply these to the wind power industry worldwide.
 

PP Techniq supplies customer-specified hoisting systems, for example for lifting nacelles and other wind turbine components used for building or installing wind turbines.
 

• The new ultra-light lifting slings are superior to steel wires and chains in several areas:
   
  For example, a synthetic rope matches the same strength as a steel wire,  only 25% smaller in diameter and 12 times less weight.
   
  Synthetic fibre lines are perfect for dynamic and static cargo types
   
  The synthetic fibre rope has especially good environmental resilience, for example by being impervious to salt water, which makes it ideal for off-shore uses.
